These cookies are take-offs of that oh-so-popular New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe that I was telling you about before.

These have the added component of CRAISINS! In case ya don't know, crasins are dried cranberries, like a mix between a cranberry and a raisin.

YUM in a cookie with Chocolate! I can see these being a great holiday cookie too...

The Andes candies are serving as an ingenious frosting (just putting the candy on top of the warm cookie and spreading after it's melted).

Yeah, these are the epitome of what every chunky chocolate chip cookie should look like, right?

I see at least 2 types of chunks in there--white and chocolate, and there is no skimping on the chunks!

All The Rage: Salty Sweet Chocolate Chip Cookies

Over the past year I've been seeing an interesting development with desert trends--the idea of combining the sweet with the savory, and putting salt on chocolate to be specific.

I applaud this new approach to salty chocolate--I do enjoy giving my taste buds a little surprise and I think that the salt somehow heightens the chocolate flavor.

These chocolate chip cookies look amazing with the sea salt sprinkled on top, don't they?

They were made using the New York Times Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe that everyone is talking about (well, I've heard at least 2 or 3 folks mention it ;-) ).

The next time I make chocolate chip cookies, I'll give this recipe a go!

Actually, I think I can smell them from here (if that is possible!) I mean these are soooooo chocolatey looking that I can almost taste them.

The cruel thing is that the photographer of this gorgeous photo did not list the recipe she used to get these masterful results.

Don't fret though--my team of chocolate researchers have located 2 possible sources of a triple chocolate cookie recipe for us to choose from.

Both recipes are unique, uber chocolatey, and have gotten rave reviews from folks who have made them before--they look to die for!

You know you love to do it--eating that cookie dough raw.

Until now, never would you dream of serving raw cookie dough to guests at your house, even though you know that if you did, folks would gobble it up in no time flat.

Why are these cookie dough balls acceptable for public consumption?

They don't have eggs in them!

Yeah, you have all the cookie dough flavor and goodness in these, and no eggs. Then on top of that, you smother the cookie dough balls with chocolate.

I didn't know you could improve on perfection, but this desert does!

I LOVE that these cookies have the unusual white chocolate + lime combo--that flavor combo is perfection!

You don't see cookies like this that often. To me they're subtle, elegant, dainty, refreshing and sophisticated. I can just imagine giving these as a gift to someone special!
