Chocolate Covered Honeycomb? Nigella's Ice Cream Cake

I have never seen a recipe ingredient of "Chocolate Covered Honeycomb", but leave it to Nigella--this ice cream cake has it in there!

Honey roasted peanuts, vanilla ice cream, chocolate "biscuits" (cookies), chocolate covered honeycombs, chocolate and peanut butter swirled morsels, butterscotch sauce--spectacular!

Aren't these drool-worthy?

Check out that close-up--It's like it's coming straight at you!

This smore actually has white chocolate instead of the regular chocolate, and check out that miraculous striped marshmallow!

This totally takes smores up a few dozen notches...Yum!

Kids Will Love These: Nigella's Rocky Road Crunch Bars

And to be honest, I can't imagine an adult being unhappy with one of these Rocky Road Crunch Bars either.

First off these look sooo easy--they're easier than rice crispy treats, I think. And they look more upscale--you could easily serve these for dessert to guests or give these bars as a gift.

No baking at all!

The Search Is Finally Over: Chocolate Drizzled Caramel Apples

2960480333_6ef17d0b05 Photo chocolate drizzled caramel apples by rachel is coconut&lime

You have no idea how many hours I've spent looking for a delish photo and recipe for a chocolate covered caramel apple (and just in time for Halloween!)

This one is from Rachel at Coconut & Lime--the photos are stunning!

And notice that there is no pool of caramel at the bottom--there is apparently a trick to that that I have never been able to master.

Not that extra caramel is a bad thing--it tastes good, but I have to admit that this caramel apple looks neat and tidy and not messy at all.

I need to try this recipe!

If Elvis Saw These... Peanut Butter Chocolate Mochi with Banana

3816784_79021d5cfd Photo: peanut butter chocolate mochi by chotda

What do we have here--the triple threat flavor combo of chocolate + peanut butter + banana!

What is not to love here!?

And did I tell you that the chocolate part is fudgy? Look how gooey?

As for Mochi--what is it?

Wikipedia says that Mochi is a "rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape."

The photo looks much more appetizing than the description sounds, eh?

There is no denying that this photo is drool worthy--how about if we think of mochi as fudge?

Yum!

Praline Fudgy Goodness: Nib Nougatine Brownies

Brownienibs
Photo Nib Nougatine Brownies by ^-^liz

Wow, these are looking mighty tasty, aren't they?

When I first saw the recipe, I wondered "What is a nib nougatine exactly?"

Well, it looks like it's a type of brittle (like peanut brittle) except made with cocoa nibs.

It's the stuff that looks like pieces of amber jewels on the plate there.

Then you place the nougatine on top of the brownie batter and bake.

I think you end up with a praline like center--not sure, but really how can you go wrong?

This looks delish and kind of exotic for a brownie!

Can You Make This At Home? Pumpkin Chocolate Truffle Cake

Pumpkinchocolatetrufflecake Photo by Scuzzi

It's that pumpkin time o' the year again!

Halloween is just around the corner, so it's time to start eating chocolate dishes shaped like pumpkins!

If anyone can figure out how to make this Pumpkin Chocolate Truffle Cake, please chime in.

This cake is like the Faberge Egg of cakes--teensy-tiny but oh so expensive!

On the inside it has decadent truffle-like cake:

Separating each cake layer is chocolate caramel truffle cream (swoon!!!!) and there's supposed to be a layer of white chocolate going around the edges.

All in all, this cake is a force to be reckoned with, but alas, I can find no recipe!

Surely if someone could figure this out, they could become a gazillionaire cuz this itsy-bitsy cake sells for $125 and is no longer available for buying as far as I can tell. Here it is at the Mrs. Field's website (and it's discontinued).

Our only hope is to be able to figure out how to make this at home--I have no idea where to even start.

Any ideas?

Oy, check out how gooey delicious looking these are!

The Andes candies are serving as an ingenious frosting (just putting the candy on top of the warm cookie and spreading after it's melted).

I adore choco-mint anything!
