I LOVE this idea--this baker, Jocelyn, has outdone herself on the creativity!
She doctored up a regular brownie recipe to give it KICK!
She found spiced nuts (with cayenne and balsamic vinegar) and also an exotic spicy chocolate bar (you know they even have those at Target now!).
Then she added those special HOT ingredients to her brownie batter and this was the result!
Imagine biting into one of these--first the chocolate hits you, then the salty nuts, then you get a jolt right at the end of cayenne and balsamic!
This is a brownie with some depth--a triple threat! Chocolate + Salty + Spicy
No recipe--just grab your favorite brownie recipe (I would use the boxed kind--shhhhh, don't tell!) and add your spicy ingredients.
Then, knock everyone's socks off! :-)
that would be assuming that the spicy hot chocolate bar made it into the brownie mix. Those bars are so good.

Hahaha--maybe it would be wise to buy *2* spicy hot chocolate bars :-)
One might somehow get eaten in the car on the way home from the store ;-)

Yes, I agree--it takes chocolate up a notch, as if that were possible.
