The only reason why I know this is because a few nights ago on that show "Throwdown with Bobby Flay" he had issued a Blondie Throwdown (which was a sight to behold).
Blondies have a vanilla (or sometimes butterscotch) dough base, sort of like the dough you'd find in a chocolate chip cookie. In fact, the blondies that Bobby Flay made were brown sugar based, like these.
So Sara, the baker/photographer, is calling these Brown Sugar Brownies, but they very well may "technically" also qualify as Blondies.
I don't care what they're called--they look delish!
Oh, these sort of look like a huge, thick chocolate chip bar cookie to
me--yummers! They are sooooo moist and decadent looking, and I can see
the nuts and chocolate chunks.
