Yeah, these are looking pretty good about now :-) . I love the chocolate chips floating in a sea of cream cheese filling. So delish looking, and the recipe looks simple too.
This cupcake concoction looks special, not like your everyday cupcakes, so it might be nice to keep on hand for those impromptu guests who stop by.
I had a few unexpected guests a couple weeks ago, and I was glad to have some of the Chocolate Crinkles dough on hand.
I just whipped it out, baked some of them, then voila–fresh dessert, and folks were amazed!
With these black bottom cupcakes I would probably bake them, then freeze them in an air tight container, then thaw when needed. Believe me, people love cupcakes, and they would think you’re a domestic diva for having these on hand. :-)

My grandma makes these and they are my absolute favorite! I always called them “cuppycakes” when I was little and the name kind of stuck. They are the absolute best! :)
